📖 Title: How the Enemy Tries to Frustrate Christians in the 21st Centur

Intro
Life teaches us deep lessons—especially when we walk with God. Many of these lessons come through pain, delays, and inner battles. But in those very struggles, God shapes our character and strengthens our calling. The enemy knows this too, which is why he constantly tries to frustrate believers—especially those just beginning or growing deeper in their faith.

When Balance Is Missing, It Affects Your Calling

For years, I thought giving all of myself—every ounce of energy and time—was the best way to serve God. Helping others has always been my passion. But I began to feel tired, overwhelmed, and even disconnected. I thought I was doing the right thing. Wasn’t total sacrifice supposed to bring joy?

Then the Holy Spirit showed me something important: without balance, even service can burn us out. I realized God created rhythms of rest for a reason. We weren’t built for constant hustle. Rest allows us to reconnect with God, ourselves, and the purpose He gave us.

👉 When you're tired and empty, you're not failing—you're being invited to rest so you can pour from a full cup again.

Guard Your Imagination—It’s a Battlefield

The enemy doesn’t always use obvious tactics. Sometimes, he works quietly—planting fear, doubt, and lies in our imagination.

Your thoughts are powerful. If the enemy can make you believe you're not good enough, too late, too broken, or too small—he can keep you from acting on your purpose.

That’s why Philippians 4:8 tells us to think on what is true, pure, and lovely. It’s not just about positive thinking—it’s about spiritual protection. What you allow in your mind shapes what you believe, and what you believe shapes your future.

Trust God’s Timing, Not Society’s

We live in a world full of pressure: get married by 30, have the perfect job, buy a house by a certain age. These timelines often cause frustration, especially when our reality doesn’t match up.

But God’s timing is perfect. His delay is not denial—it's preparation.

The enemy uses comparison to make us feel behind, forgotten, or inadequate. But remember, someone else's breakthrough doesn’t mean yours is canceled. Stay focused on what God told you, not what others are doing.

How Trauma and Wounds Silence Our Purpose

One of the most powerful tools the enemy uses is unhealed trauma—especially from our past.

Imagine a child who was abused at age six by a caregiver. They try to speak up, but no one listens. They’re accused of lying, told to keep quiet, and their voice is silenced.

As they grow, that pain lingers. Even if God gives them gifts—like prophecy, leadership, creativity—they begin to believe their voice doesn’t matter. Trauma tells them they’ll be judged or misunderstood, so they stay silent.

Unhealed wounds become invisible barriers.
They can block spiritual gifts, financial growth, confidence, and joy.

Another example? Someone who tries to invest or build a business but loses money multiple times. That pain starts creating fear. They stop trying. Trauma says, “You’ll always fail,” even though God says, “I am doing a new thing.”

The People Around You Can Build You or Break You

Another tactic of the enemy is to use people around us to plant confusion and doubt.

For new believers especially, or those still developing spiritual maturity, this can be extremely dangerous. You may start doubting if what you’re hearing is really from God—or worse, wonder if you’re just “crazy.”

That’s why we need discernment, a gift that grows as we spend more time with God.

Be wise about who you let into your circle, and especially careful about who you share your dreams and plans with. Some people are only meant to be in your life for a season. Holding on too long can drag you down paths never meant for you.

Jesus prayed all night before choosing His twelve disciples. You don’t need to stay up all night, but you do need to submit your decisions and relationships to God. Let Him guide your connections.

Healing Is Possible—And Necessary

If you recognize these patterns—burnout, fear, trauma, or confusion—don’t ignore them. Healing is possible.

Yes, God can deliver you supernaturally, but He can also heal you through Christian counseling, prayer, community, and time in His Word.

Psalm 147:3 says:

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

The enemy wants you stuck in the past. God wants you free for the future. Choose healing. Choose growth. Choose purpose.

Final Thoughts

  • Rest is holy.

  • Your imagination matters.

  • God’s timeline is perfect.

  • Your trauma is not the end of your story.

  • The right people will support your calling.

  • And above all—God still has a plan for you.

Don’t let frustration stop what God is building in you. Stay close to Him. Let Him lead. And trust that every delay, every challenge, and every wound is something He can use to make you whole again.

We are blind, and He serves as our guide; we dwell in darkness, and He illuminates our path

Navigating this journey can be challenging without relying on any supernatural assistance for direction and oversight. The world is vast, empty, and often overwhelming, leaving us feeling lost, confused, and uncertain when faced with various challenges. We may be tempted to depend on friends, family, deities, idols, alcohol, or any distractions that prevent us from confronting our issues or seeking the right path, instead of succumbing to worry and engaging in self-destructive behaviors.

Nevertheless, we possess the ability to choose life and to place our trust in our Creator, the Lord of Israel, the one true God who sacrificed His Son for our benefit. This is the God who supports us and takes joy in every aspect of our lives.

As stated in Psalms 37:23, the LORD guides the steps of the righteous and takes pleasure in every detail of their existence. Though they may stumble, they will not fall, for the LORD upholds them by the hand. While reflecting on this verse, I realized that I exist in a dark world, one where I am often unaware of what lies ahead. Although I may know my current situation, the future remains uncertain. In essence, I cannot navigate everything on my own. He reminded me that He takes joy in our lives and desires to ensure that we move forward with love, ease, and peace. This is why He wishes to guide our decisions, plans, and actions as we embark on a journey with Him. He wants us to understand that without Him, it is nearly impossible to navigate safely and soundly until the end of our earthly journey. Consider a blind person or an individual in a dark room without guidance; if there are stones, holes, or other obstacles, they will undoubtedly stumble because they cannot see where to step to reach their destination.

As Christians, we are called to trust in the Lord and surrender all aspects of our lives to Him. He will guide our paths, as He understands the best way to lead us to our destinations. While it may take some individuals six years to achieve success in a particular field, the Lord is aware of our human nature and the inevitability of our mistakes. This is why He extends His hand to assist us and to direct our future. We are indeed fortunate to receive forgiveness for our sins through Christ Jesus.

Navigating Life's Journey: Essential Christian Lessons from 2018 to Present

Isn't it fascinating how life has a way of teaching us profound lessons, often in the most unexpected ways? I am thankful for the profound lessons I have acquired over the past few years. These experiences have played a crucial role in my personal development, shaping who I am today. As I reflect on this journey, I am grateful to all the individuals—friends, acquaintances, and family—who have influenced my character and helped me strive toward becoming my best self. In the past, I viewed some of these individuals as adversaries and harbored negative feelings toward them. Interestingly, research from the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology highlights that sometimes, difficult relationships can spur personal growth, much like what I have experienced. Reflecting on my personal journey, I realize they were, in essence, teachers in disguise. Some helped me learn to love myself when I was unaware of how to do so, while others imparted the importance of prioritizing my well-being and cherishing my own company. After significant inner work, healing, counseling, and seeking spiritual guidance, I feel fortunate for encountering these remarkable individuals. Today, I wish them well, recognizing that these lessons have been absorbed, leaving me prepared to embrace the next chapter of my life with open arms, applying these insights to the new journey that began yesterday. While the journey of growth is ongoing, I take pride in the progress made, and I'm eager to see where these new insights lead.

1.The fundamental lesson I have acquired is the importance of heeding the voice of the Holy Spirit and following His guidance. I consider myself to be quite attuned to spiritual matters. Nevertheless, I grew up in an environment where the voices of the Holy Spirit were neither appreciated nor regarded as trustworthy sources of direction in everyday life. This upbringing caused me to frequently doubt and question the Holy Spirit's influence. I have made many errors in the past by ignoring that subtle guidance. I am resolute in my commitment to avoid repeating that mistake as I embark on this new chapter of my life. As stated in John 10:27, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."

2. One of the lessons I have learned is that when an individual consistently brings you distress and you have courteously asked them to modify their behavior, yet they remain resistant to change, it is wise to create distance between yourself and that person. While forgiveness is essential for your own emotional well-being, it can be particularly challenging when the pain originates from those we hold dear, such as family members or colleagues. Those who have been close to me in recent years can attest to my inclination to conceal my suffering, which led me to re-establish connections with individuals who had previously caused me harm, in the hope of enhancing our relationship. Unfortunately, I have discovered that this pattern often results in additional suffering for both parties involved. This realization has motivated me to pursue relationships with individuals who genuinely care for me and prioritize my best interests. As illustrated in Psalm 1:1-3, blessed is the person who avoids the company of the wicked and finds joy in the teachings of the LORD, for they are like a tree nourished by water, bearing fruit in due season and thriving in all they do.

3. One important lesson learned is the necessity of seeking support when confronted with challenges. It is beneficial to consider engaging in therapy or utilizing other essential resources, such as spiritual counseling, to facilitate your healing and journey toward deliverance. It is recommended to avoid isolating yourself from those who care about you, particularly fellow believers within your Christian community, as such isolation can lead to unproductive outcomes.

I grew up in an environment where counseling was not widely accepted and was often viewed as unnecessary for an individual's well-being, particularly for those who have experienced significant trauma and carry deep emotional wounds. When I first arrived in Switzerland and was encouraged to pursue therapy, I was skeptical and believed it would not be helpful, thinking I could manage my healing independently. However, over the past few years, I have come to understand that our behaviors are frequently influenced by unresolved issues from our past. Consequently, we may find ourselves repeatedly encountering similar pain, situations, and individuals, as the universe prompts us to reflect on our experiences and seek help, ultimately guiding us toward fulfilling the purpose that the Lord has intended for us.

 4. This lesson proved to be one of the more challenging experiences, as it prompted me to seek additional time for regular self-reflection. I was compelled to confront my fears regarding being single and the anxiety of solitude. This journey led me to appreciate the importance of spending time alone on weekends, traveling, or participating in solitary activities. Such moments have allowed me to cultivate a deeper relationship with God, granting me clarity and guiding me toward more deliberate life choices. As expressed in Psalm 37:23, "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way." I have come to embrace my thoughts without trepidation, understanding that these moments can be profoundly enriching. I commit to prioritizing introspection and the practice of waiting on God, ensuring that my schedule does not overshadow this essential aspect of my life. This notion is further reinforced in Psalm 46:10, which states, "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."

5. This lesson emphasizes the importance of solitude over associating with undesirable groups. It is essential to end toxic relationships and embrace solitude when necessary. Engage in activities independently, savor meals alone, or travel by yourself. Seek the joy of your spirit and appreciate your experiences on this earth. Remain true to yourself and to God, living in harmony with His will, and everything else will fall into place. This principle is echoed in 2 Corinthians 6:14, which warns against forming unequal partnerships with non-believers, raising questions about the connection between righteousness and wickedness, as well as the relationship between light and darkness.

7. I have come to understand the importance of avoiding locations that have previously caused me emotional pain or negatively affected my well-being. If you find yourself in a setting where you feel unwelcome or your voice is disregarded, it is wise to leave that environment behind, whether it be a home, workplace, or social gathering that brings back distressing memories. As stated in Matthew 10:14, this principle applies universally. It is essential to stay away from places that have required significant time for healing, as they may trigger further discomfort or a return to detrimental behaviors, given the strong impact of our surroundings. Recognizing that certain environments may no longer be beneficial to us is crucial; if we have outgrown them, it is sensible to move on. I have learned the significance of creating space for new opportunities to enter my life.

.

8. 1. I have come to recognize that change is an unavoidable part of life. As individuals, we often form attachments to people, belongings, and locations, yet life can unexpectedly alter our circumstances. I have personally faced this reality through sudden job loss and shifts in the behavior of those around me, which required me to adapt and seek new opportunities. This experience is reflected in Ecclesiastes 3:1, which states that there is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven. As believers, we should embrace and follow the Lord when He calls us to venture into the unknown. It is natural to feel hesitation and doubt about our readiness for what the Lord has in store for us, but we must trust that His plans are always for our good.

In conclusion, I extend my heartfelt wishes for a fresh start to myself and all believers globally. May we persist in our growth in Christ.â˜ș

What is the purpose of our existence

For nearly 29 years, I struggled to discover my purpose, often finding it difficult to even get out of bed to fulfill my job responsibilities. I felt utterly drained; the harder I worked in hopes of earning bonuses and improving my quality of life, the more empty I became. In my frustration, I rebelled against God, attempting to navigate life independently like many others. I was deeply unhappy and dissatisfied on every level, often questioning God about my existence. Periodically, I battled depression, wondering if this was the way my life would always be. Curiosity has always been a part of me, and I have long pondered my purpose on this earth. It wasn't until the Lord called me and drew me closer to Him that I began to understand His will and purpose for my life. I realize now that I am not alone in this journey.

There are times when everything aligns perfectly, instilling a sense of hope for what lies ahead. Yet, even the most steadfast individuals may find themselves pondering their true purpose. What is my reason for being here?

Is this journey meant to be free of obstacles? The Lord has assured us of His presence and support in all our endeavors, so why do I face challenges? Why do I feel uncertain about the mission entrusted to me? It can often feel like a heavy burden. Where are my supporters? Why has the Lord given me a task without the anticipated resources? Am I running low on energy, and will I truly be able to fulfill the responsibilities that lie ahead?

One of the most remarkable aspects of walking with God is that He serves as our teacher and is a dependable guide. He skillfully provides us with a purpose, even when we lack material means. Importantly, He has equipped us with all the resources necessary to achieve our purpose from within. What He seeks from us is trust and faith in Him. Although we may have a calling and a purpose, challenges and obstacles are inevitable on this journey. We can only learn and overcome these difficulties by relying on Him.

Indeed, the path can be arduous, and the temptation to give up may be strong. God's ways differ from ours, and He knows how to connect us with the right individuals—be they destiny helpers, business partners, or clients. The Lord is our provider, arriving at the moment we need Him most, often unexpectedly.

Stay encouraged and continue to place your faith in God.
